Finding a hot gf & finding a hot job

At this juncture in my life, preparing to step into the corporate rat world by going for job interviews & finishing up my nonsensical academic obligations in university, it suddenly dawned upon me that finding a job is akin to finding love in many ways.

Sometimes, a prestigious company may lead u on, by inviting you for a few interviews, as part... of their multiple step selection process. Finally, just before you get selected amongst hundreds of other applicants for the lucrative job, they suddenly tell u that u have been cut.

Similarly, some attractive women lead u on and they finally cut u off. No mercy. No compassion. No explanation.

Rejection. It may hurt, and definitely it takes a toll on yourself. Sounds like being rejected by a gal as well, dosent it? Its part and parcel of life, and it happens in every aspect of our lives, and notably in the pursuit for romance and women.

The important thing is, how are we going to respond to a small rejection? Are we going to give up and retreat to our shells of comfort to prevent rejection again? Or are we going to learn from the experience to prepare for the next interview, or the next woman that we want in our lives? Its your choice.

Do people give up finding good jobs just because one company rejects them? No. They suck it up and attempt for other companies, simply because the drive for success in career is so important in our money-faced society.

So, is our drive for success in attaining love as strong as our drive for career success? If it is, then rejection is nothing. Nothing.

It only means that when u reach your objective, the taste of success is sweeter by a million times.
